VPS backups

You are responsible for your VPS data. Use the backup features in the VPS panel plus independent copies for anything you cannot afford to lose.

Panel backups

Open Services → your VPS → Open VPS panel.
Use the backups section to create, schedule, or restore snapshots according to what your plan and panel offer.

Restores overwrite the current disk state for the scope of the restore. Test restores on a non-production snapshot when possible.

Best practices

Back up before reinstall or major upgrades.
Keep off-server backups (object storage, another server, or local encrypted copies).
Document how to rebuild the stack from backups (configs, secrets, cron).
