SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
CyprusNode requires SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for domains that send mail through our infrastructure. Without them, providers may reject or spam-folder your messages.
Where to set DNS
Section titled “Where to set DNS”Add and maintain records at your DNS host — often the same place you manage the domain:
- Domains registered with CyprusNode: Domains and My domains
- See DNS management for general DNS help
Your mail or web hosting control panel shows the exact SPF include, DKIM selector, and recommended DMARC policy values to publish. Copy those into DNS; do not invent record values.
What each record does (high level)
Section titled “What each record does (high level)”| Record | Purpose |
|---|---|
| SPF | Tells receivers which servers may send mail for your domain |
| DKIM | Cryptographic signature proving messages were authorized |
| DMARC | Policy for how receivers should handle failures and reporting |
After you publish
Section titled “After you publish”DNS changes can take time to propagate. Wait up to a few hours, then send a test message to an external mailbox. Use a ticket if records match the panel but mail still fails.
Sending behaviour
Section titled “Sending behaviour”Even with correct DNS, inbox placement is not SLA-covered. Unsolicited bulk and bought lists violate acceptable use. We may throttle outbound mail when needed.
